Fondation Kana works not only with schools for the project Sun at school, but also with the institutions partners of the sponsoring project where courses are dispensed.

Making a teaching internship in Fondation Kana is:

  • To Accompany the project Sun at school in 2 cities: Yaounde and Dschang ( West region of Cameroon) and to participate in the elaboration of the programs of courses;
  • To participate in meetings, to develop new forms of courses like quiz, games, and propose new surrounding areas of courses playful and easy to understand;

The project Sun at school aims at sensitizing children and young people in public and private schools on the themes of environmental protection, renewable energies and specifically solar energy. The animators use videos, "PowerPoint” displays and the black board to explain for example the notion of fossil energy, ecological footprint or how a photovoltaic patch works. Because Cameroon is bilingual there are courses in French and in English;

If the intern has good educational knowledge he can help the other members of the foundation by training them;

We can also experience the integrative teaching - for example in the center for the disabled (Yaounde), at MEJ (The house for children and young people), in the CRISPEFP (educational private social institution for reeducation and vocational training of Cameroon) but also in the other institutions like Promhandicam, Eseda etc.

Besides teaching the foundation is also hired in the sensitization in the field of health, sexually transmitted diseases (STD / STI) and AIDS;

If the intern lives in a host family, he can help children of the family (classes’ homework).
