The education is considered in Cameroon and everywhere else as the passport for a better future. In 2010, 72 million children in the world had no access to the education. The girls, the orphans and the vulnerable child (OVC), in situation of handicap, stemming from minorities or from the poorest circles are mainly concerned. In its educational and school support program, Fondation Kana rewards all school year round outstanding pupils. This is done through a well elaborated and targeted selection of children that must benefit said prizes. Because the program concerns all the regions of Cameroon without any distinction in order to reward the most deserving pupils.

The objective is to encourage the children to give the best of themselves in their school training, so the children are more motivated and interest in education.

For that reason Fondation Kana decided to support and motivate the pupils with annual awards at the end of every school year.

So the delivery of our Award for excellence took place for three years in several schools of the various regions of Cameroon where the best pupils of every age were chosen, as well as some teachers for their profound commitment.

Fondation Kana offered school kit including all that it is necessary to a child for the following school year as well as the certificates of encouragements for the teachers.
